NEWS
For the first time in history, RC&D Councils across the country are functioning without the direct support of the Natural Resources Conservation Service. Though this cut in federal funding means a substantially smaller budget, the Acadiana RC&D Council is currently making every attempt to reduce operational costs and continue its various projects. The council has relocated its new office space to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Center for Ecology and Environmental Technology (CEET).
The Acadiana RC&D council looks back on a proud history of accomplishments, and envisions a "tomorrow" of continued collaborations in its conservation efforts.
